Qualifications and Experience
Caroline Cruse is a fully licensed independent clinical social worker and Washington State Approved Supervisor. She has significant experience in both base management and clinical mental health counseling in a variety of settings. Serving in case management and direct provider roles for inpatient, residential, partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient, and outpatient levels of care has prepared her for acute trauma informed work in both group and 1:1 treatment settings. With years of experience in community mental health (CMH), Caroline has extensively collaborated with community partners such as the King County Department of Public Defense, CPS/APS, FVS, FAR, BRS and WISe, MCOT, CYCFT, DCYF, CLIP, PACT, local school officials (many times for IEP, BECCA, ARY/CHINS and behavioral accommodation related work), VOA, DOC, and a variety of housing/section 8 programs in WA. She has worked intensively with children, parents, families, and adults, with a special focus on first responders and legally involved/incarerated persons. Currently, Caroline is certified in Washington State as child mental health specialist, an emergency responder and public safety personnel provider, and a forensic evaluator and treatment provider. She is currently in the process of working towards EMDR certification.
